On Saturday, December 13, the Department of Government saw 30 students across the MPA, Paralegal, and Political Science programs graduate.  The student commencement speaker also came from the Department of Government –Ms.

As we approach the end of the Fall 2014 semester, the students and faculty of the Department of Government have been busy.  Here are some of the activities from the past month.

Meet Ozan Kalkan

Dr. Kerem Ozan Kalkan had been around the world and done many things before coming to EKU.  This year, he joins the Department of Government as one of our faculty members who conducts research in comparative politics, religion and politics, political psychology, and quantitative research methods.  This week, we sat down with Dr. Kalkan to learn more about him.

As the 2013-2014 Academic Year comes to a close, it is interesting to reflect on what the faculty, staff, and students have achieved.  When spaced out over a year, it is hard to appreciate how much goes on in a single academic apart, but looking back, it is now possible to see just how much we do here.

Congratulations, Spring 2014 Grads!

On Saturday, 10 May 2014, the Department of Government graduated 52 of our students across the Political Science, Paralegal Studies, and MPA programs.  Congratulations to the graduates of the Spring class of 2014!  We look forward to seeing great things from you.  Please, keep in touch and let us know what you are up to and what you are doing in the larger alumni community!
